The recession’s heavy wallop – and the recovery’s fitful return to form – has had a profound impact on the sponsorship marketing industry. Consumers remain guarded about the future, putting new pressures on sponsors and rights-holders alike to demonstrate real value and relevance. “Creating Opportunities” – the theme of the SMCC’s 7th Annual Conference – will explore how innovation and ingenuity can be harnessed to produce programs and properties that truly engage consumers while realizing a maximum return on sponsorship marketing objectives.
A signature component of the SMCC’s Annual Conference is the presentation of the Sponsorship Marketing Awards, created to acknowledge proven performance in sponsorship marketing. This year marks our 6th annual awards celebration.
